Infosec is not what is was a few years ago. We have ENORMOUS opportunity as well as challanges.
If you are good and care, you will develop some expertise naturally. You will NOT however, naturally develop “Expert Status”
A Rock Star is a recognized expert and has a number of other non-Geek valuable skills as well
Ted, we haven’t met in person yet but looking forward to your class in Sweden later this year, and awaiting details of your forthcoming Rock Star Class!
These videos have been very informative AND motivating!
Awesome Maria – will look forward to it. Haven’t been to Sweden in a long time – wish I had some time on either end to explore Stockholm and nearby, and that may happen with a few schedule tweaks 🙂
I must admit this is ALL very new to me, but I have noticed it is not always the most technical people who get the most done or have the most influence as you mention.
A lot to think about and enjoying your videos
What kind of camera are you using Ted?
Bob, just an iPhone. Although I’m pretty new with video, the lights are more important than the camera (and I’m using a cheap hardware store set of lights. Check out this link of video for details on what I did https://wistia.com/library/down-and-dirty-lighting-kit
Some valuable information and insights I hadn’t thought about before – and I saw your Infosec Rock Star talk too about a year ago in texas!
Thanks Cass – glad you are finding things valuable! Also thanks for your insights on the survery you filled out a couple of weeks ago.
Loving your videos – keep them coming! Hope to take one of your upcoming classes too!
Will look forward to that Mary!
Excellent material – as always sir.
As always, thank you Jockel!
Best video so far Ted – these must have taken you forever!
They were fun AJ!
