I’ve been consulting since 1990, and it certainly ranks up there as one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life. Based on the large number of questions I get on becoming a consultant, the over 200 of you that filled out the infosec consulting survey, and the 5 friends of mine that have very recently become consultants, I know there is a lot of interest.
Consulting gives you a lot of freedom, lets you chose meaningful work that makes a difference, is fun, and yes, you can make a lot of money.
